We're just a little over a month away from the start of the Iowa Shop Hop! There are 3 different Iowa fabrics this year! Preorder of the Iowa fabrics is this week, but due to Pella's Tulip Time, I'm going to wait till next week to place my order. Don't care much to fight the crowds (& possibly the weather) to walk up town to the store since roads are blocked off all around the square where the Quilted Windmill is located. I've started my shopping list, which seems to grow daily!

Still working away on my table runner! I figure I'm about 1/4 of the way done with the top.
Since the 2ND floor over looks the main floor, I needed something to cover the top of my hutch. Something to hide the dust that collects up there! Made this little thing from scraps.
During the move I lost my mom's present I was making for her so doing a quick runner before I see her tomorrow! Pattern is from Pieced Tree, one of their tiny cards.
My husband might be right... Pinterest is evil! Saw so many cute hexagon projects on there I had to try! Printing and cutting the paper didn't sound like fun so ordered a punch from Amazon. Only on day 2 and have a nice start. 4 "flowers" (basically) done and about 40 hexagons prepped for assembly. Going to make a Honeycomb table runner for my kitchen island.
Tried one yesterday, but was feeling under the weather, so only did 1 half triangle. Good thing too! That's the one I did backwards and will have to redo! Today went better, got the other 3 side As done (correctly). I can see why people like these! Blocks look complex, but are really simple (if follow directions!)
